Information Governance ANZ is a group of professionals who bring together their expertise from a diverse range of backgrounds to connect professionals working across the sphere of information governance and keep them up to date with the latest developments and international global thinkings. By building a network of multi-disciplinary professionals, information silos will be broken down, enabling connected thinking and innovation that leads to information governance best practices. This, in turn, will promote the delivery of better outcomes for organisations by both minimising risk and maximising the value of the information held within organisations.

Susan is the Principal of Sibenco Legal & Advisory and Co-founder & Director of Information Governance ANZ. She is a leader in Information Governance and advises on strategic risk management to achieve organisational objectives, including:
- Information Governance – frameworks, policies and procedures to maximise the value of data while minimising the risks and costs of holding it.
- Privacy and Data Breach – policies and procedures complying with privacy requirements, privacy-by-design and cyberattack preparation with critical incident planning and data breach response.
- Corporate Governance - governance frameworks, policies and procedures to achieve organisational objectives.
- Legal Project Management – timely delivery of projects within budget through the effective use of technology and people.
- Workshops and Presentations – helping leaders achieve strategic objectives and manage legal risks.
Susan actively contributes to the development of Information Governance by publishing articles and speaking at Australian and international conferences. She holds a Master of Business Administration (AGSM) and a Master of Laws (Syd) and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E). Susan is Chair of WG6 APAC International Electronic Information Management of the US based think-tank Sedona, and a member of Working Group 11 Data Security and Privacy Liability. She is a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA)and a member and graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Marie is the CEO of Astral Consulting, an information management (IM) organization that provides customers with independent, vendor neutral advice about the best strategy for managing their information. Marie understands the big picture when it comes to information management and enjoys the challenge of developing enterprise strategies in this area, while also being able to translate the vision into actions and an appropriate programme of work.
Over her 30-year career in information technology, Marie has developed skills as a subject matter expert in information management and governance, and frequently advises her clients in this area. In her leadership role with Astral, she leads a team of more than 20 consultants who are focused on delivering information-driven business outcomes for Astral clients.
Marie and her team have developed an implementation methodology for information management that includes both technical and business aspects including change management and information governance.
Marie focuses on keeping her knowledge current by attending a range of global conferences and participating in industry forums that focus on information management. Marie has also participated as a member of the AIIM Executive Leadership Council in its global forum for information governance and provided input to its industry.
