On the final sitting day of the Australian Parliament 2024, the long-awaited first tranche of amendments to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) were passed.  These changes mark a significant shift in privacy regulation and enforcement in Australia, introducing stricter obligations, new powers, and enhanced penalties.  Join us to hear what these involve, and the steps organisations should be taking to ensure compliance.
