Following the Australian Information Commissioner’s latest report on Messaging Apps, this session takes on added urgency, which calls for a shift ‘from a compartmentalised to a holistic approach to information governance’.
We’ll also unpack the recent ‘Signalgate’ scandal in the U.S., where the accidental inclusion of a journalist in a Signal chat with senior officials exposed sensitive national security communications—an incident that led to a federal judge ordering message preservation.
