This session explores National Archives of Australia’s(NAA) new Policy development work along with the Data Interoperability Maturity Model (DIMM).

NAA has a current Digital Continuity Policy 2020 which was released in 2015 and concludes 31 Dec 2020, which applies to government information, data and records, as well as systems, services and processes. This sessions covers the history of it’s implementation and also provides an update on the new policy, due for release in July.

The Data Interoperability Maturity Model and its assessment tool (DIMM) was developed to support implementation of the Digital Continuity 2020 policy. Hear from our presenters why you should consider using a DIMM, how it can help you assess across the 5 interoperability key themes and steps involved in conducting an assessment.
