Dr. Pietro Brambilla is based in Germany and has been working as a lawyer in the field of digitalization, legal tech and information governance for several years. Pietro is currently head of Digital Transformation as well as the Data Officer and Business Information Security Officer for Integrity and Legal Affairs at Daimler AG. In this function, he and his team are responsible for the innovation and digitialization strategy as well as information and data governance of the areas belonging to the Integrity and Legal Board Division of Daimler, including the Legal Department, Compliance, Technical Compliance and Integrity function of Daimler worldwide.
Pietro started his career at Daimler in 2002 as a litigator. In 2012 he moved to the US as head of Legal at Daimler North America Corp. where his activities included the coordination of information governance and data privacy topics at regional level. Pietro has extensive experience in the area of digital transformation, information and data governance as well as information security.
Pietro holds a Doctorate from the University of Konstanz and a Master of Laws in U.S. Law from Florida Coastal School of Law. Pietro has published different articles on the digital transformation of the legal sector and its impact on corporate legal departments and is a frequent speaker on this subject.
