Description

Webinar 12 noon AEST | 8 May 2023

Join us to hear the Director-General of the National Archives of Australia, Simon Froude, officially launch IAM 2023 and discuss this year’s theme – The Next Wave: Empowering Information Professionals for the Future.  The theme this year urges information professionals to embrace the dynamic and evolving nature of the industry and position ourselves for success in the future. This emphasises the importance of continuously developing new skills and staying current with industry trends. With these actions, we can empower ourselves to drive innovation and lead our organisations to success.

The latest trends revealed in the Information Governance Industry Report 2023, will be discussed by Susan Bennett, Founder InfoGovANZ, and Dr Peter Chapman, Partner, Korda Mentha and InfoGovANZ International Council. The report includes participation by InfoGovANZ, RIMPA, DAMA, EDRM, ALSM and the broader information community and now tracks trends over the past seven years. We will be discussing the impact of recent high-profile data breaches on information lifecycle management, new trends emerging and what we can do as information professionals to implement best practice.
