Consumer Data Right System: New Guides
The OAIC has released 8 new guides designed to help businesses understand and comply with their obligations under the Consumer Data Right (CDR) system. The guides outline key privacy obligations concerning: Sponsors and affiliates under a sponsored accreditation model, which allows a person to provide goods or services directly to a consumer The disclosure of insights based on a consumer’s CDR data Outsourced service providers (OSPs) and principals of OSPs under CDR outsourcing arrangements CDR representatives and principals under the CDR representative model. The CDR Privacy Safeguard Guidelines will be updated to reflect the content of the new guides.
