The aim of the policy is to continue to improve information management capability within the Australian Government (Cth) to meet current and future needs for trusted, authentic and reliable records, information and data for government and community. Accompanying the policy release are new, updated and existing National Archives guides and supporting advice to help government agencies implement the policy and meet each of the 17 policy actions.
